Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Customer Service I had damaged my locking lid for this ReptoHabitat so I posted a question right here on this product page. All I asked was how I could order a replacement. A customer service representative contacted me the next day to get my shipping info. One week later the replacement locking lid arrived at my door and there was no charge, not even for shipping!! This is THE BEST customer service I've ever received. I'm actually so satisfied that it feels wrong, like I got away with something..haha

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product, but watch the Plug I do in fact like this product. I have had one for over 3 years now and my slider turtle does well in it. However, if you purchase this, consider that the easy draining plug in the bottom panel can become a problem if not watched. Once the rubber plug wears out a little, my turtle has pulled it and drained out the water. Fortunately I had a bucket under my repto-habitat because I had noticed it starting to drip. Since then I have kept a bucket below. Also, Tetra's customer support has sent me replacement plugs at no charge. Once they wear out a little and dripping starts, I replace the plug.

I no longer have the drain/plug for my terrarium, it's just the hole in the glass bottom. How do I get replacement drain/plugs for this aquarium? Mine needs to be replaced but I can't find anywhere I can buy them.

My filter stopped working. How do i get a new one? Petco does not sell it separately and I got the tank under a year ago...

Asked by: IzzyB
Thank you for contacting us! The kit pictured does not come with a filter, so I am not sure which one you own. However, if it is one of our reptile filters, most likely you need to open the motor to remove the impeller and clean it. We will contact you directly. In the meantime, you can also call and speak with someone in person at 1-800-526-0650. BREX

My Raphael is getting too large for his current home. My problem is, he needs a large enough basking stone, but also needs room to move around. Also having issues with water filtration system. All the systems I see are for fish, hangs on tank not on floor

Asked by: JanCC
Assuming that Raphael is a turtle, I would recommend a minimum of a 75 gallon tank with a floating dock. For filtration, we don't make canisters under the Tetra name, but we do under the Marineland name. My turtle is housed in a 90 gallon tank and filtration is via a Marineland Magniflow 360 canister. If you do not wish to go to canisters, then I would recommend two of the Whisper 60 filters one at each end of a 75 gallon tank. In either case, water level should be within 6 inches of the top of the tank. Use a screen top to prevent the turtle from climbing out. BREX

Where do I find reptile tanks under 50 gal that are located in Grand Junction, CO

Where in Grand Junction CO do you carry the turtle tanks that are under 50 gallons? We have only successfully found 1 that is 10 gal. and our Red Slider Turtle is about 6 inches wide and is not happy in this environment.

One other thing, it is sometimes hard to find the larger sizes, so you may need to ask your independent store to order it in for you. This does not cost extra. BREX

What are the dimensions of your 40 gallon STS26917 reptile aquarium/terrarium?!!!!?

Not one website that has one for sale tells what the size of it is, only that it is 40 gallons. I need to know what stand I can put it on.
