Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke After 1 year I bought this a year ago. Yesterday I turned off its power to clean my pond and now it wont function anymore. Tried four times to submit a request to customer support but the web page had an "error" every time i tried to request help or try to use my warranty.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Tetra Pond Filtration Kit 250 Water flow very weak. All "Spray", "Bell" & "Frothy" patterns are weak, nothing like advertised. It is like the pump is to small. Suppose to handle up to 250 gallon of water, it is in 100 gallon. Tried to get help on website, but would not work, got an error notice. Assembled easy, but unhappy with weak water flow.

can i purchase the tetra pond fountain kit FK3 directly from you. or can i just order replacement pump?

Asked by: lisa52
No, we do not sell direct. The pump is indeed sold separately, however, through retail garden centers, nurseries, and pet stores. It is the WGP325 pump. BREX

I just bought a tetra filtration kit 250 that includes pump and everything. I plugged it in and I am barely getting any pressure from fountain head. The water is spraying out about 1-2 inches. HELP

Asked by: AmandaR
The pump should be no more than about 12" below the water surface, and check the diverter to make sure it is turned to fully open. This is the piece with the ports on it. One acts as a flow control. BREX

Where is the flow control valve on the WPG magnetic drive water garden pump

Asked by: Tigerboojs
There is no flow control on pond pumps. To slow it down, you insert a ball valve inline between the pump and the application. Ball valves are available at any DIY hardware store. BREX

I have this fountain with pre filter, but my question is can I attach a filter to it? If so what kind and how. I have a 200 gallon pond. I am having green water issues and really don't want to use chemicals and hurt my gold fish. Thanks

The pump probably will not be big enough to operate two filters and a fountain. It might manage a UVC-5 light, however, which sits outside the pond. This would clear your green water, and keep it clear. BREX

I have the fk3 and was wondering if I can attach a filter to it? If so how. Thanks

Asked by: Manchester United 1
It comes with a filter, the Submersible Box Filter, which attaches to the inlet on the pump. If you were hoping to attach a second filter on the outside of the pond, I don't think the pump would be powerful enough for that. BREX

I have a Tetra Filtration Kit 250. Can/should additional filter media (like lava rocks) be place in the bottom of the box, under the 2 pads?

Asked by: MelissaofMD
Yes, you can definitely add lava rocks or pea gravel for additional biological filtration! BREX

what type of filter/pump is recommended for a 50-60 gallon pond?

Asked by: Raphael
A pretty small one. I would recommend the FK3, 26594, for up to 100 gallons. BREX

are there clear instructions for the diverter and using flow control valve

Asked by: Bill73
Not separate ones, no. The diverter allows you to operate more than one item from a pump. For example, the fountain and an outside spitter or uv light. There is a valve on one side that you twist to help control how much flow goes to the fountain, reducing it to allow water to also go to the spitter or uv. BREX
