can we use aqua safe meanwhile the fish are inside the tank and how many times do we use it in a year?

Asked by: jesus21
Yes, it can be added to the tank with the fish in it. You should do at lease a 30% water change once a month (more often if the tank is small) so you will use it at least with each water change. If you need to top off the tank in between water changes you would also need to use it for that new water as well. BREX

I have a 1 gallon bowl with 1 beta.....could I have too much in there and it harm him? It seems like he cannot see his food...he goes for the pellets and misses them...

Asked by: Hockeygal
Hello Hockeygal! AquaSafe dissipates within 2-3 minutes and is no longer in the water. Your betta needs a tank of 2-5 gallons with heated water. He prefers temps around 80-84 degrees. He may be trying to eat, but not really feeling like it, because he is cold, so he doesn't actually follow through on the attempt. BREX

Thank you for your interest in this Tetra product! We have not tested this product for aquaponic use. However, it will dissipate from the water within 2-3 minutes. BREX

How much do you put in

Asked by: Ksthy
Thank you for contacting us! As you are in France, I am not sure if the directions would apply to you. Here in the United States, we use one teaspoon per 10 gallons of water. Please visit the www.tetra.net global website and click on the link for France to seek assistance with this product. BREX

How many drops do I use for a 4.3 gal tank?

Asked by: Regg
Just use half a teaspoon. This would barely be an overdose, and it is safe to overdose by 2-3 times the dosage. And actually, it is better to overdose than underdose. Otherwise, you will need to count out 32-40 drops. BREX

Just brought a bottle of tetra easy balance for my 30 ltr aquarium read the instructions on the back just want to make sure I'm doing it correctly. Add 2.5ml per 10ltrs which means 7.5ml if so do I just pour it straight in. Is it Ok to still use aquasafe

Asked by: Gaz r
I think I converted all the numbers correctly, so yes, that would be correct, you would need 7.5 ml for your tank. Basically, 3/4 of the recommended dose on the bottle. And yes, you can use AquaSafe at the same time. BREX

Hi I have 30 ltr freshwater tropical aquarium I going to do a 25% water change approx 7 half ltrs how much aquasafe can I use in the replacement water at the right temperature also can I add the aquasafe directly into the tank thank you

Asked by: Gaz r
Dose for the 7 liters, not the 30 liters. So approximately 1.23 ml or .25 teaspoon. BREX
