Do you take it out of the aluminum tin?

My comets are used to feeding at the surface w/ Tetra Pond koi growth.They do not seem to know to find the vacation food on the bottom or on top of lily pot.

That can take some time. Try breaking a portion off, and crumbling it into the water as you let the block drop in. BREX

Does water temperature affect the block dissolving because as a test I put one in on a Sunday morning and it was gone by Monday night or have I just got 2 really greedy ghost koy?

No, it does not affect this food as this food does not dissolve. It has to be actually eaten so someone certainly gobbled it up! BREX

Would you tell me if these blocks disintegrate when put in the pond or will there there be a gel like substance left? I have use this product whilst on holiday and the gel block was still there when I arrived home. I look forward to your reply

They do not disintegrate. The fish must swim to them and nibble off of them. BREX

No, you remove the tin from around the food, and drop the food to the bottom of the pond. BREX

i bought a vacation food block and when i put in the pond it floats food down, is that what it is suppose to do? how do i know fish are feeding from it?

It should sink to the bottom, yes, and the fish will nibble on it. You would need to see to the bottom to determine if they are eating it or not. BREX

I have 1 goldfish if I break a part off the vacation food block and feed my fish it can I refrigerate the rest and have it last?

How many Goldfish will each block feed for up to 7 days?

I have a large outside pond with approximately 50 goldfish ranging from 5cm to 30cm long in it.
