Rated 4 out of 5 by from tetra 20 gallon led kit This is a great little kit. I've been into aquariums for 15 years. I haven't had one in 3 years. My kids wanted one so I purchased the 20 gallon kit. The led lighting is pretty good. The only complaint I have is the filter it comes with sucks. I will be upgrading this weekend. With 2 sword fish 6 guppies and two mollies the filter doesn't seem to do a great job. It is a great value for the beginner though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 10 Gal GLOFISH Tank Kit Wonderful starter kit. Glass tank was as expected. The top was made of plastic but that was expected for the price and being a kit. When I opened the box, I followed the easy instructions to set up. The only tip I would add is based on the blue/white lights cord length.... put the BLUE lights in the CENTER with the WHITE lights on each SIDE. Because the filter is right there, water does hit the lights but they are sealed and so far have not been a problem. Depending on the salesperson, they may or may not have experience on GLOFISH so I suggest you do some research in advance. I understand the Green sometime get aggressive so it is best to school at a minimum of 3 to 5. I sttarted with 3 to get my tank established after waiting for 2.5 days. Then in a week I added two more fish. The best glo'ers are the yellow and green in my opinion although I now have one of each tetras.Per their suggestion,, I plan to get a catfish for bottom clean up. My goal for my 10 gal tank will be 12 to 15 fish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TECH SUPPORT I BOUGHT MY 10 GALLON TANK ABOUT A YEAR AND A HALF AGO AND RECENTLY, 2 OF THE 3 LED LIGHTS IN THE COVER FAILED. I CHECKED AROUND AT STORES TRYING TO FIND A REPLACEMENT BUT WAS UNABLE TO. THERE WERE NO OTHER OPTIONS OTHER THAN BUYING A NEW TANK (JUST FOR THE LED LIGHTS) AND I FINALLY CONTACTED TETRA AND ASKED THEM WHAT OPTIONS I HAD. I WAS CONTACTED BY LAURA BRADLEY, A CONSUMER RELATIONS SPECIALIST, AND WAS INFORMED THAT A NEW UNIT WAS ON IT'S WAY. I RECEIVED THE NEW UNIT JUST THE OTHER DAY AND MY TANK IS ALL BACK TO NORMAL AGAIN. I WAS VERY PLEASED AT WHICH MY ISSUE WAS ADDRESSED AND CORRECTED AND WILL HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEIR PRODUCTS.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This is a great fish tank for its size, good size for home aquarium. I find or I feel the power motor is very very noise considering to its size. I went to the store where I bought the fish tank, but I did not hear such a noise despite to a larger size of fish tanks and many of them were running at the same time. In addition, none of fish tank that was running similar to mine. Take a listen at the video from You Tube. https://youtu.be/ZDbqRJbdu1Q

Rated 1 out of 5 by from JUNK!!!!!! the leds are cheap, half of the set of led died and took forever to get a replacement. I bought this tank just over a year ago last aug 11 and just yesterday aug 30 the following year. so just after the warranty runs out the seals let go and the tank started to leak. Ive been in the hobby for over 15 years and none of my tanks have ever leaked, even the one im running now is old, who knows how old and not a drop, i know its at least 10 years my tank has been running.there product are just just good enough to make it just passed the warranty

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 29 Gallon Kit I was weary of buying this brand because people told me it was a cheaper brand. So instead I purchased a different brand because people said it worked better. First day the tank leaked so I exchanged it and got the 29 Gallon Tetra brand tank. So far no leaks a better filter than the competitor and overall I am happy with all the Tetra products I purchased with the in box coupons. I had that tank cycled in 5 days with a lot of healthy bacteria. I would recommend this brand and make sure you check the tank and follow the instructions.

I have a ten gallon tank that I received through pets in the classroom for my classroom 2 years ago. The led lights have gone out. What model is the hood replacement for the 10 gallon kit tank.Thanks.

Asked by: khead
The 20 x 10 LED Aquarium Hood would be the replacement. You could also buy the LED Aquarium Light if all you need is a new light. BREX

My heater doesn't work. Does this have to do with the fact it was plugged before the 15minute interval?

Asked by: pascal53
Possibly, but how do you know it doesn't work? In the summer time, heaters do not turn on as often, so make sure you are using a thermometer to check the water temperature, and then check it against the room temperature as well. Also, make sure the heater is turned so you can view the area where the light turns on. If you continue to have issues with it, please call us at 1-800-526-0650.BREX

Why blue led lights on these marinaland tank kits.

Asked by: harley75
These are Tetra branded kits. We put blue and white lights on most of them, and blue only on any kits that are targeted for glofish. The blue lights make a great lunar glow at night, and bring out the colors of glofish.BREX

My 10 gallon Color Fusion tank has been up for 5 days. I have noticed the water began getting hazy yesterday. I have 15 small fish in the tank. I feed the Tetra flake food. What should I dp.

Asked by: Bearcat
There are many causes for cloudy water. Overfeeding your fish can cloud your water as the uneaten food is allowed to decompose. At each feeding you should feed no more than what your fish can eat in one to two minutes. Overstocking the tank can cause cloudy water too. Excess waste, like excess food, gives of ammonia and nitrites. You should have 1 gallon of water per 1 inch of tropical fish. Have 2 gallons of water per 1 inch of goldfish.Or, your aquarium could be experiencing what is known as "new tank syndrome." When you set up a new aquarium or when you carry out a large water change, it is very natural for your water to become cloudy as part of the systems normal biological cycle. The reasons for this are fluctuations in the nitrogen cycle, and the release of gasses in solution resultant to an increase in water temperature. A water change of 50% or more will restart the cycle. We would recommend that you add SafeStart to the aquarium and that will help the Nitrogen Cycle process. This will clear up on it's own.MINI

Looking for led light bar for Tetra ColorFusion aquarium kits. I have the 6 inch bar that came with aquarium. Looking for a 12 inch bar that will light aquarium better.

Asked by: Big Dawg
Good morning,Thank you for your inquiry. However, we do not have the ColorFusion LED in a longer light bar. The best recommendation for a larger light bar would be the 17" Hidden LED light bar by Marineland. This would allow you to have white and blue LEDs available to change from a daylight to night light setting.MINI

How do I change the batteries in my 6.5 gallon semi hex led aquarium lights? They don't work anymore.

Asked by: Jenny387
We do not make a 6.5 gallon semi hex led aquarium kit, so I'm not sure how you would change the batteries. Our led lights all have power adaptors and do not use batteries.BREX

How do you adjust the thermostat for the Tetra LED 20 gallon aquarium?

Asked by: Haniko
The heater will have a + sign, a - sign and a triangular mark on the top of it. The triangular mark represents 78 degrees Fahrenheit. Set it there, place it in the tank, unplugged for about 15 minutes, then plug it in. Give it several hours to adjust, monitoring the thermometer (separate item in your tank) periodically. Adjust towards the + sign to raise the temp and towards the - sign to lower it, accordingly, one click at a time.Give half an hour or so in between each adjustment before adjusting it again.BREX
