Rated 5 out of 5 by from This WORKS I tried an all in one expensive “X” brand that only killed my fish. I chose this product based on symptom description. It cured and saved my remaining fancy guppies. I suffered some snail loss but that was to be expected. Also, this medication is generous in quantity, quality and extremely affordable! I had to treat twice and I also used aquarium salt and increased the temp to 80• just to speed up the process.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good stuff I have used FG several times in my 30 gallon tank. I use it mostly when I add new fish & they seem to get lethargic, won't eat, and just seems to be observing their new life in the tank with the others. I am also learning how much is enough to feed them daily. Just the move is stressful enough. Then you add overfeeding. Bam!! Sick fish. So, be observant to your fishes actions after adding new ones. I treat tank with 3 tabs, wait 4 days, partial water change, then new filters and seems all is ok. The adding of new fish always brings problems. Be prepared.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fungus guard for my cichlids I have a 55 with 9 cichlids I noticed that one of the cichlids had white cotton looking stuff on his head and one side fin. I went to pets playhouse and they said it was a fungus and recommended fungus gaurd! It has made the tank completely green! I hope it helps all of the fish but how long will it stay green and when and what do I need to do now as the instructions only say to add 1 tablet per 10 gallons so that’s all I have done but highly doubt that’s all I need to do! Please let me know how long it will stay green and if there is anything else I need to do! My cichlids will thank you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it and affordable! After some research on products because 2 of my fish suddenly were covered in white fuzz in a matter of overnight,i didn't want the other fish to catch whatever was happening in my tank. The instructions are straightforward and easy to follow. No measuring involved. It is a super simple product to use Some products can harm plants and I didn't really want to lose my whole planted aquarium but the tetra product was safe.that made me happy. My shrimp are doing great. There are a couple of them have even shed the exoskeleton during the process and seem happier than ever. (maybe I'm lucky cause I've heard other people haven't had such luck with the fate of the shrimp) I'm glad I've got this product on hand so if I ever see any signs of anything again I can treat it right away. The cost of this product compared to other comparable products is great too. Less than 10 bucks. And since I only have a 5 gallon tank u just split a tablet in half and I put the other half away for next time. (hopefully there isn't a next time...) Thanks Tetra for making great products that are affordable and that work well

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent It saved my fish. It had dropsy and pop eyes when I started the treatment...during the treatment white fungus appeared (IT may have been the main cause of the previous syntoms). At the sixth day....the fish was completely cured.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Killed my shrimp :( I bought this because my dwarf gourami was showing signs of fin rot (30 gallon tank; used 3 tablets). It didn't say anything on the back of the package about invertebrates. I noticed a few hours later that a small tetra I had purchased earlier in the week had died. I went back an hour later and saw that my one and only shrimp had also died. I have had this freshwater shrimp since January and am sad for the loss. I am scared that my other fish might be harmed. I noticed that the tablets turned the water green. The package doesn't say anything about changing the water or doing a second treatment for tanks under 40 gallons. I don't know if I'm supposed to do a water change or when to do that? Will the water eventually clear up? Planning on contacting customer service if I have any more problems.
