Rated 3 out of 5 by from Maintains temperature at 74 degrees. I’ve been using this heater for six weeks. It is located in a turtle tank with 10 gallons of water and a screen top. The room is usually in the upper 60’s. The heater always maintains the water temp at 74 degrees. I have used three different thermometers. I expected an automatic setting of 78. Is there a way to adjust the thermostat?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Isn’t working I’ve had this heater plugged in for about 15 hours and the water is still cold, around 70 degrees. My turtles have been very cold the last few days and refuse to eat so I got this heater in hopes that it would warm them up before they starve. I keep my house at 77 degrees. Hoping it works after 24 hours....? I have a 50 gallon tank but only about 2-3 gallons of water in the tank

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for th cost Bought one a few years ago for my turtles and it worked great. It didn't last the two years though. So had bout another. The one I currently have is starting to malfunction. I haven't seen the light come on in a while and my tank water is sitting at 70.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst heaters I bought this heater and the light never came on. So replaced it thinking malfunction and the second lasted 2 wks. I have a thermometer (tank temp is always 68-70 from heat lamp)and it never warms my tank with 10 gallons of water. Sending this one back as well and finding a better heater for my turtle. I do not recommend for anyone.
